Stephanie became an HSC scholar in 2012. She is now a graduate from St. Mary's University's Class of 2016, where she received a BBA in Accounting with a notable 3.5 cumulative GPA.
Since entering her second year at St. Mary's, Stephanie stayed active on campus as a member of the Marianist Leadership Program (MLP) of her Delta Zeta sorority. According to St. Mary's, MLP is "a community of equals that cultivates relationships through hospitality, selfless servant leadership, and faith for the purpose of making a positive change to the San Antonio community."
As a member of her sorority, she completed service projects with San Antonio Pets Alive!, the San Antonio Food Bank, and Continuing the Heritage (a day dedicated to service on campus). In addition to doing well in school during her junior year, Stephanie worked part-time during the semester while interning at the Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation. During her junior and senior years, Stephanie held the Alumni Relations Charwoman position in Delta Zeta.
After graduation, Stephanie accepted a job offer with the Union Pacific Railroad Company in the Marketing and Sales Development Program.
