James joined HSC as a scholar in 2013. He is now a graduate from the University of Texas School of Law since 2016 with an impressive 3.7 GPA.
In his first year of law school, James volunteered at the Alpha Xi Delta's Autism Speaks event, where he helped raise over $3,500 for Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks is an organization that strives for "increased global awareness of autism, better understanding of the breadth of the autism spectrum and advocacy to increase research and access to care and support." During his second and third years, he showed loyalty to the organization by volunteering again.
In the summer before his third year of law school, James served as an Associate with Locke Lord LL and Winstead PC. During his third year of law school, James spent the first semester studying in Amsterdam at Vrije University. He was also the President of the Real Estate Law Society and a Staff Editor for the Journal of Oil & Gas/Energy Law.
After graduating in the spring of 2016, James accepted a position at Locke Lord and began soon after.
