Cynthia Lopez has built a career centered on event coordination and operations after graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Human Dimensions of Organizations. She works to manage logistics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless experiences for both

internal and external stakeholders.

Reflecting on her early career, Cynthia says:

“Since receiving my HSC Scholarship, my educational and professional journey has been centered on growth, leadership, and community impact. I earned my degree in Human Dimensions of Organizations, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding people, systems, and organizational dynamics.”

Cynthia is working towards contributing to her community by creating environments that promote representation in underrepresented districts. Through a combination of dedication and hard work, Cynthia is a leader in culture and social justice advocacy.

“I am currently passionate about building Impulso, an idea rooted in creating meaningful events that bring community, culture, and opportunity together. Impulso represents my long-term vision of producing community-centered events that highlight culture, entrepreneurship, education, and collaboration—especially for underrepresented communities.”

Cynthia is also on track to establish an official location for an inclusive, representative environment for social and community events. She is motivated to create and inspire others in her community.

“Alongside my full-time role coordinating corporate events, I’m focused on laying the groundwork to eventually develop a permanent venue where events can serve as a platform for learning, creativity, and community growth. At its core, my passion is using events not just as gatherings, but as tools to empower people and create lasting impact.”

We are excited to see what Cynthia will accomplish in the future.
