AISD Latino Leaders

The AISD Latino Leaders Program is a collaboration with the Hispanic Scholarship Consortium (HSC) & Austin ISD's Hispanic Futures Program. It is designed to sculpt students into leaders in a rapidly evolving world.

 

Latino Leaders serves 9th to 12th grade students from the Austin ISD. Students meet quarterly to engage in workshops that fall within 5 categories: Leadership, Service & Integrity, Academic Success & College Readiness, Career Exploration, and Identity & Wellness.

 

Program Outcomes:

• Acquire leadership skills to succeed in the challenges of today & tomorrow

• Increase skills needed to take on leadership roles 

• Become college & career ready

• Engage in interactive sessions with working professionals & current HSC scholars

• Grow your Hispanic identity with like-minded students

• Gain access to Austin’s top scholarship provider for Hispanic students
