Scholar Leadership Conference 2010

Over 65 college students and professionals activated their potential and charted their course at the 2010 HSC Scholar Leadership Conference. This 3-day training experience empowered them with the tools necessary to harness their leadership potential and to move forward in their careers of choice.

What began as an afternoon training event for scholarship recipients has grown into an in-depth education experience that ensures that HSC Scholars and program participants are workforce-ready leaders with a philanthropic outlook once they reach degree attainment.

Community Service/Servant Leadership Experience
Begins and concludes at the Texas State Capitol and includes community service activities at 6 different nonprofit organizations

Wednesday, August 4
Hyatt Regency Hotel Austin
Features a full day of training, the 2010 HSC Empowerment Awards Luncheon and closes with the Engaging Professionals Career Mixer

Thursday, August 5

Feature a full day of training and Community Engagement Program presentations
