Renewing your scholarship

 

 

Some scholarships with HSC are awarded on a renewable basis. If you are unsure if your scholarship can be renewed, please email info@hispanicscholar.org.

Renewal scholarships are awarded each semester (award amount divided by 2). Students must remain eligible to receive their fall & spring scholarship payout.

In order to be eligible to receive your scholarship,  you must:

  • Maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA

  • Be enrolled on a full-time basis

  • Complete service hours (5 hours each semester)
    *Students not meeting these requirements will be placed on probation for one semester and are still eligible to receive their scholarship.

In order to receive your scholarship check, each semester you must complete a scholarship renewal application, which includes:

  • A transcript reflecting last semester's grades

  • Your upcoming course schedule

  • Financial Aid Award Letter

  • Documentation of service hours

 

Reminders are sent at the beginning of every semester via email to all HSC scholars that are eligible to renew.
